The money raised from this campaign is used to take Lakota teens to leadership conferences "off the rez". It's been a great way to expose these kids to the broader world, help make them more comfortable interacting with others, become more confident, and develop as leaders. Many of the teens that have attended these conferences come back and work or volunteer at the Y and are role models for the younger children.

This is my 5th year on the Board of Trustees for the Sioux Y....the only YMCA in the country on an Indian reservation. It's so rewarding to be a part of this organization and support the wonderful work they are doing. The staff at the Y are amazing....they are young, energetic, innovative, and passionate about helping kids overcome the hardships of reservation life and develop their potential.

My goal is to raise $750 and whatever you might be able to give to help get there is very much appreciated. THANK YOU!!
